August “Auggie” Kuzara is a proud Idaho hockey product whose career has taken him from local rinks to high-level junior, collegiate, and professional hockey — and now back home, where he’s helping build the future of the game in Idaho.
Known throughout his playing career for his explosive speed, relentless compete level, and natural goal-scoring touch, Auggie developed into a dangerous offensive threat everywhere he played. That combination of speed, work ethic, and hockey IQ earned him opportunities to compete in high-level environments and eventually at the professional level overseas, where he gained invaluable experience against elite competition.
Auggie is a true player-first coach. He understands the grind. He understands what it takes to push to the next level. And he understands the mindset, preparation, and commitment required to succeed in elite hockey environments.
Today, Auggie brings that experience back to Idaho. He currently coaches the McCall Smokejumpers (USPHL) while continuing to stay closely connected to the game as a player with the McCall Mountaineers.
Whether he’s behind the bench or lacing up his skates, Auggie’s mission remains the same: build better players, build better people, and continue elevating the culture of hockey in Idaho.
Kyle "Mitsi" Mitsunaga is a standout multi-sport athlete from Boise, Idaho, with a remarkable journey through both hockey and golf. A natural competitor from a young age, Kyle excelled on the ice as a defenseman and earned a commitment to play hockey at St. Cloud State University before a significant injury redirected his athletic path. His early success in hockey showcased his leadership, competitive drive, and athletic versatility.
After his hockey career was interrupted, Kyle channeled his competitive intensity into golf — a sport perfectly suited to his focus, precision, and mental toughness. At Boise State University, he became a key contributor to the men’s golf team, competing in multiple collegiate tournaments and posting strong individual finishes while helping the Broncos compete in the Mountain West Championships.
Post-college, Kyle pursued professional golf — competing on professional circuits and continuing to refine his game at high levels of competition. His transition from elite hockey to competitive golf reflects not just his athletic ability, but his resilience, adaptability, and relentless work ethic.
Today, Kyle continues to embody the spirit of Idaho athletics — blending passion, precision, and performance in every arena he steps into.
Dominic Dumas is an Idaho-born forward whose hockey journey has taken him through high-level junior hockey, NCAA competition, and into the professional ranks. Standing 6’2″ with a powerful, north-south style of game, Dominic developed his foundation in elite junior leagues before earning an opportunity to play collegiate hockey, where he established himself as a reliable contributor with strong compete level, offensive touch, and leadership presence.
After college, Dominic made the jump into professional hockey, continuing his career in the FPHL and SPHL. His pro experience taught him not only the speed and physicality required at the next level, but also the professionalism, preparation, and mental maturity demanded of true high-level athletes.
Known for his work ethic, toughness, and ability to play in all situations, Dominic brings a high hockey IQ, competitiveness, and team-first mentality to every locker room he’s part of. Beyond his playing ability, he carries himself as a mentor and leader — someone younger players naturally look to for example, guidance, and standard.
Dominic’s journey reflects resilience, dedication, and a genuine love for the game — qualities that continue to shape the impact he has both on and off the ice.
Nolan Stanley is a hockey player and coach from Boise, Idaho with deep ties to local hockey and a career built on consistency, competitiveness, and leadership. Born on May 17, 1996, Nolan developed his game within Idaho’s hockey community and has continued to make an impact both on the ice and behind the bench.
As a forward for the McCall Mountaineers in the Mountain Hockey League, Nolan brought dependable offensive contributions and physical play. Over his seasons with McCall, he appeared in 16 games and posted 6 goals and 4 assists — showing his ability to produce in all areas of the ice and contribute regularly in team scoring.
Nolan’s transition from player to coach demonstrates his commitment to the game and to helping others grow. He now serves as Assistant Coach for the McCall Smokejumpers in the USPHL Premier Division, where he applies his on-ice experience to mentoring players, teaching positional play, and fostering a culture of hard work and accountability.
Known for his dedication, hockey sense, and team-first attitude, Nolan continues to be a positive influence in Idaho hockey — helping young athletes develop both their skills and their love for the game.
